Dog Sledding in Alaska
Soldotna B&B Lodge collaborates with two of the best dog sledding companies on the Last Frontier to provide once-in-a-lifetime tours into the breathtaking Alaskan wilderness. Our most popular half-day dog sled tour can be experienced at Godwin Glacier. You’ll start the journey with a ten-minute helicopter ride to a nearby dog camp. You’ll get to witness nearly every crevice of the glacier, which features some of the freshest powder in the region. Every rider will have the opportunity to snuggle with beautiful Huskies before returning to the lodge. You can also spend an afternoon dog sledding with members of the Iditarod-winning Seavey family. The Seavey’s provide premier dog sledding tours, engrossing real-life stories, and fun with the Huskies. Ice Fishing in Alaska
Soldotna B&B Lodge is one of the only Alaska fishing lodges that remain open 12 months a year. It’s tough to find a riverside resort that offers guided half-day ice fishing charters on the Kenai Peninsula. We’re not going to disclose where our ice fishing expeditions take place because our anglers deserve privacy and tranquility, but there are dozens of premier nearby lakes that are brimming with lake trout and Dolly Varden. A professional, experienced guide leads each ice fishing tour. All fishing licenses, bait, tackle, and gear is provided upon arrival.
Snowmobiling in Alaska
No other snowmobile location on Earth can match the Kenai Peninsula’s serene, pristine wilderness. We rarely see another rider during our half-day snowmobile tours here at Soldotna B&B Lodge. Many trips stumble upon bald eagles, moose, Dall sheep, mountain goats, and, occasionally, a pack of elusive wolves. Lunch will be provided during your journey.
